Deletes every voicemail message in a folder, with the same result as deleting each message. From new or saved, the messages move to trash. From trash, everything in it is removed for good. Pass permanent=yes to remove new or saved messages for good without moving them to trash.Only voicemail is removed from new and saved. Faxes kept in the same mailbox stay; delete them under /domains/{domain}/users/{user}/faxes. A message that arrives while the folder is being emptied stays. An empty folder also answers 202, so calling it again is safe.Every user can empty its own mailbox, and Call Center Supervisor only its own. Site Manager can empty the mailboxes of users at its own site, Office Manager and Route Manager any mailbox in its domain, Reseller and Route Manager Reseller any in their territory, and Super User any. The Owner and Managers of a shared inbox can empty its new and saved folders into trash, but not use permanent=yes or empty trash. The read-only scopes never change voicemail and get 403.To delete one message, use DELETE on /domains/{domain}/users/{user}/voicemails/{folder}/{filename}. Sending filename, index or ordinal-order to this path returns 400 rather than emptying the folder. The change is made on the server that handles the request, before the response, and copied to the other servers over the service bus (SBUS) file journal. Message-waiting lights follow on each server's next mailbox scan. Each call is recorded once in the audit log, with the folder, whether it was permanent, and the number of messages. If some messages could not be removed, the call answers 500 after trying all of them, and the message says how many are left.
