Fields you leave out keep their current value. definition, roles and users are replaced whole when sent. Read-only fields (id, domain, created-datetime, modified-datetime, email-next-send-datetime, email-last-sent-datetime, email-last-status) are ignored, so a read can be sent back as is.

A shared editor (can-edit is yes) can change name, description, definition and the email-* fields. Changing owner-user, visibility, roles, users or can-edit needs the owner or an Office Manager or above; sending them unchanged needs nothing more. Only an Office Manager or above can hand a report to the domain (owner-user null).

Send the revision you read to make sure you are not overwriting someone else's change: if the report has changed since, the request is refused with 409. Leave revision out to change the report whatever its current revision. A change to email-* fields alone leaves revision as it is.

Returns 202 once the change is accepted; it is applied shortly after.
