Deletes a site: the system extension that holds its settings, and the records that extension owns.Requires Office Manager in the domain, Reseller for a domain in your territory, or Super User. Site Manager, Basic User, Super User Read Only, and every other scope get 403.A site that still has members is refused with 409, and the message gives how many. Members are the users, call queues, and other extensions filed under the site. Move them first, or send force=yes to clear the site from every member and then delete it. Members keep their own settings, including values they copied from the site when they were created, and their devices are not touched.Deleting the site also removes what its own extension owns: its devices, time frames, emergency addresses, contacts, conferences, recording settings, and CDR schedules, among other records. Phone numbers routed to the site's extension return to inventory. The site's group chat is archived last, after everything else succeeds. The site's provisioning defaults are not removed.A 202 means the change was published over the service bus (SBUS), not yet applied. Each core server applies it when the event arrives, so a read straight after the 202 can still show the old state. DELETE /domains/{domain}/sites, with no name in the path, returns 405.
